Hi everyone~ It is nice to find this MBA forum.
I am an applicant with 10-year experience in gaming industry, and I plan to take a MBA program in UK and seek employment after graduation.
MBAs in London seem quite expensive.. like 30K+ or so, then I looked at other unis and got some offers. I am really eager to have some guidance and suggestion from you guys to make a final decision
1 Exeter - one planet MBA, I had a good interview with the administratior. but from the conversation, I felt the program focuses on environmental perserve or sustainable energy. Exeter is ranked of top 10, how about its MBA?
2 Loughborough MBA, triple accredited, I got the offer without interviews (kind of weird...), actually I took Loughborough as my priority. It is a 2-year MBA (1-year internship integrated), the academic quality looks quite good. But since Loughborough is a small town, so I am wondering does the location influence on the graduate prospects?...
3Royal Holloway, tuition is reasonable, is it due to the location (in Surrey instead of London) or the quality is ferior?
4 Sheffield, triple accredited, it appeals to me, but someone told me it is quite academic, and why the starting salaries of graduates are lower than others? how about this city?
5 Newcastle, AMBA/EQUIS accredited, and the tuition fee is really reasonable (again, why's that..), how about the city? It looks far away from London, are there many job opportunities there?
6 Southampton, only AMBA accredited, and the tuition is 23500, guess i will take it as low priority...
7 Aston MBA, quite expensive, and again I got unconditional offer without interviews..
8 Kent MBA, had an good interview, but probably will give it a miss...
I am looking for good MBA education and a new career in UK, any suggestions from you guys would be very helpful!
Cheers!
