The school with the ROI is often not the one with the highest NPV. A small investment producing a small return will often have a better ROI than a big investment with a big return. I recommend that instead you consider the NPV of the options.

Newcastle and Nottingham are certainly the MBAs on your list with the best reputations.

So I can deduce that in terms of ROI, Glasgow=exeter= sheffield may be the good choices but for the highest NPV, Nottingham and then Newcastle may get better remarks. Please correct me if I made wrong conclusion.

In that case I will definitely choose Nottingham as cash inflow is not something I want to make a barrier in my career. I am really not into other collages like loughborough and surrey so removing those.

Also I had to retake my GMAT to improve my scores and because of that I applied to Lancaster, Aston, Durham and Bath very late ( just couple of days before). Do you think I am too late to get any offers from these collages. I am having around 4 years of experience only.

I think I might expect Exeter to be a little under Glasgow or Sheffield because of Exeter's focus on sustainability, which I think will pull down the average salaries.

The schools you have applied to late are all on a much higher level, especially Aston, Lancaster and Bath. I'm not sure what the quality of your GMAT or work experience is. I think Bath will be the one of these most likely to fill up by now. Oh, Well its a new finding for me as the research I did was showing Exeter alumni getting early jobs and better jobs than Sheffield and it was almost competing with Nottingham.

Well Looking at my profile. I am technical lead for past three years in leading IT MNC. I am Btech (3.71 GPA) and GMAT - 650. I have my fingers crossed for one more week else I have no choice but to join Nottingham.

That's obviously an error. Ask Exeter. There's no way their average salary was 90k. That's more than LBS.

Durham is very academic and, unlike Nottingham, has never been in the FT's top 100. I'd use LinkedIn to see which of them had a better network in the areas you want to work in.

Durham was in the FT Global MBA Rankings until last year. There was a HUGE drop between 2011 and 2012, mainly due to the drop in post-graduation salary.

I think Nottingham dropped off the list in 2010.

I agree Ralph, according to 2013 rank FT rankings, both are excluded from top 100. On the other hand Durham is on better ranking than Nottingham in The Economist and both are included in top 100. Still in a fix about what to choose.

I apologize for stretching this but just now I have gotten a conditional offer from Strathclyde (John Anderson Location). The condition only asks me to take a satisfactory interview and also asks me to accept or decline conditional offer. I guess now it will be a much easier decision for me and much more easier for you to help me.
